Two people standing inside a small wooden gazebo by a lake, smiling at the camera, dressed in warm clothing and winter hats.

Our story

Firewatch was started by Blake and Lia, two people who like building things, being outside in the winter, and seeing what happens when you put heat, cold, and people together by a lake.

Person in winter clothing operating a small wooden mobile structure in a snowy, dark outdoor setting at night.
A person wearing a black jacket, mustard-colored beanie, and gloves working outdoors with power tools on a metal object, in a snowy, wooded area.
A person in a red and black plaid jacket and brown beanie using a hydraulic jack to lift the corner of a small wooden cabin on concrete blocks by a lakeside.
